AirTechnologies NZ Ltd – Terms & Conditions of SaleEffective Date: 30 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the sale and supply of all goods and services ("Products") by AirTechnologies NZ Ltd ("AirTechnologies NZ", "we", "our", or "us") to you ("you" or "the Customer"), including purchases made through our website at https://www.airtechnologies.nz.
By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing Products from AirTechnologies NZ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions replace all previous terms of trade and supersede any terms contained in any document provided by you, unless expressly agreed to by AirTechnologies NZ in writing.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect from the date they are published on our website and will apply to all orders placed after that date.
1. Eligibility to Purchase
To purchase Products through our online store you must:
be at least 18 years of age;
have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and
provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
Products purchased through our online store are intended for your own personal or business use and must not be purchased for resale unless expressly authorised by AirTechnologies NZ.
If you purchase Products on behalf of a company, trust, partnership, government agency or any other organisation, you warrant that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Orders & Order Acceptance
Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase Products from AirTechnologies NZ.
Submission of an order does not constitute acceptance of that order. All orders are subject to acceptance by AirTechnologies NZ.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order at our sole discretion, including (but not limited to) where:
a Product is unavailable;
a pricing or product description error has occurred;
payment cannot be authorised;
fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected;
we are unable to fulfil the order; or
we reasonably believe accepting the order would breach any applicable law.
If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method.
3. Product Availability
All Products offered for sale are subject to availability.
While every reasonable effort is made to keep our website up to date, stock levels and availability may change without notice.
If a Product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to discuss the available options, which may include:
waiting for new stock;
selecting an alternative Product; or
receiving a full refund.
AirTechnologies NZ is not liable for any loss arising from temporary stock shortages or discontinued Products.
4. Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable.
Delivery charges, rural delivery surcharges or any other applicable fees will be clearly shown during checkout before payment is completed.
Although every effort is made to ensure pricing and Product information is accurate, errors may occasionally occur.
AirTechnologies NZ reserves the right to correct any pricing, typographical or Product description errors at any time.
If an error affects an order you have already placed, we may cancel the order before dispatch and provide you with the option of:
confirming your order at the correct price; or
receiving a full refund.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Tax invoices will be emailed to the email address supplied when placing your order.
It is your responsibility to ensure your contact information is accurate and up to date.
5. Payment
Payment must be received in full before Products are dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept payment using:
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
PayPal
All online payments are processed securely through Stripe. AirTechnologies NZ does not store or have access to your full credit card details.
By submitting payment information, you warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
If payment cannot be authorised or is declined, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
6. Shipping & Delivery
AirTechnologies NZ currently ships throughout New Zealand only.
Shipping Rates
Standard Nationwide Shipping: FREE on all orders.
Estimated Delivery: 2–3 business days with tracked shipping.
Rural Delivery (RD): A flat $6.00 surcharge applies.
Signature Required: All shipments require a signature upon delivery.
PO Boxes: We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
While we will use reasonable efforts to dispatch orders promptly, delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
courier delays;
public holidays;
severe weather;
supply chain interruptions; or
other unforeseen events.
AirTechnologies NZ is not liable for delays once Products have been dispatched.
Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to the nominated delivery address.
Ownership of the Products remains with AirTechnologies NZ until payment has been received in full.
You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address and contact details supplied are accurate.
Where incorrect delivery information results in additional freight charges or redelivery fees, these costs may be charged to you.
Upon delivery you should inspect your Products promptly.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, you must notify AirTechnologies NZ within five (5) business days of delivery.
We may request photographs of the Product and packaging to assist in assessing your claim.
If a shipment is lost or significantly delayed, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable so we can investigate the matter with the courier.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery does not include installation.
7. Installation Requirements
All AirTechnologies NZ Products that require electrical connection must be installed by a suitably qualified and licensed electrician in accordance with all applicable New Zealand laws, regulations, standards, and the manufacturer's installation instructions.
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure installation is carried out correctly and in compliance with all relevant requirements.
AirTechnologies NZ accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or failure of the Product arising from:
incorrect installation;
installation by an unqualified or unlicensed person;
failure to follow manufacturer instructions; or
modification or misuse of the Product.
Where installation is not carried out in accordance with these requirements, any warranty or return claim may be declined to the fullest extent permitted by law.
AirTechnologies NZ is not responsible for any costs associated with installation, removal, or reinstallation of Products unless required by law.
8. Returns & Refunds
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA), the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer law.
Where Products are faulty, not of acceptable quality, or do not match their description, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.
Change of Mind
We are not required to provide a refund or exchange if you change your mind, so please choose carefully before placing your order.
At our discretion, we may accept returns for change-of-mind purchases where:
the request is made within 14 days of delivery;
the Product is unused, uninstalled, and in original unopened packaging;
all accessories, manuals, and components are included; and
proof of purchase is provided.
Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
All return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
You must inspect your order upon delivery.
If your Product is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, you must notify us within five (5) business days of receiving the Product.
To assist with your claim, we may request:
order details;
a description of the issue; and
photographic evidence of the Product and packaging.
We will assess your claim and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.
9. Warranty
In addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, certain Products may include a manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty periods and coverage vary depending on the Product and will be stated in the relevant Product documentation.
Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:
incorrect installation;
misuse or neglect;
accidental damage;
unauthorised repairs or modifications; or
normal wear and tear.
Unless otherwise stated, manufacturer warranties commence from the date of original purchase.
10. Liability & Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other non-excludable rights under New Zealand law.
Where Products are purchased for business purposes, you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by section 43 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the provisions of that Act will not apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Products or their use, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity; and
our total liability to you is limited to the purchase price of the relevant Product.
This limitation applies to AirTechnologies NZ, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, and suppliers.
We do not guarantee that the website or Product information will always be accurate, complete, or up to date, although we will take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy.
We are not responsible for errors or omissions on the website, except where required by law.
Force of Installation and Use
AirTechnologies NZ is not liable for any damage or failure resulting from improper installation, incorrect use, or failure to follow installation and operating instructions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, design elements, and layout, is the property of AirTechnologies NZ Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without prior written permission from AirTechnologies NZ, except as permitted by law.
12. Privacy & Confidentiality
We collect, use, and store personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
Personal information provided by you will be used for purposes including:
processing and fulfilling your orders;
communicating with you about your purchase;
customer service and support;
legal and regulatory compliance.
We may disclose personal information where required by law or where necessary to complete your transaction (for example, to courier or payment providers).
We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, however we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted via the internet.
Where you have opted in to receive marketing communications, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or contacting us directly.
13. Cookies & Website Use

By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies. If you disable cookies, some website features may not function correctly.
14. Force Majeure
AirTechnologies NZ will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms & Conditions where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters (including floods, earthquakes, storms, or fire);
pandemics or public health emergencies;
industrial action or labour disputes;
supply chain disruptions;
courier or transport delays;
government restrictions or regulatory changes; or
failures of utilities or communication systems.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
You agree that the courts of New Zealand shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions, your use of our website, or any Products supplied by AirTechnologies NZ.
16. General Conditions
If we do not enforce any right or provision of these Terms & Conditions, this does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and AirTechnologies NZ relating to your purchase of Products and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
We may send notices to you via the email address provided at the time of purchase.
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will apply from the date they are published on our website.
